Scott Slay is the leader of his Denver-based bluegrass band, Scott Slay and the Rail. His debut album The Rail features cameos from Sierra Hull, Scott Vestal (Sam Bush Band), Sammy Shelor of Lonesome River Band, Infamous Stringdusters dobro player and lead singer Andy Hall and smooth vocals from Mountain Heart lead singer and pianist Josh Shilling. The album features original songs and a few new arrangements of traditional tunes. Best served with a glass of whiskey and a chair by the fire. Scott has anew single coming out in 2021 featuring Josh Shilling(Mountain Heart), Jeremy Garrett(The Infamous Stringdusters), and Aaron Ramsey(Mountain Heart).
